How does booking work?
Submit a request with your address, services and preferred day. We confirm barber availability and your total price, including any travel fee. Once you approve, your card is authorized to hold the appointment. We need at least 24 hours' notice.
How much does a mobile haircut cost?
$175 for the first guest's first service. Each additional guest is $50–$75, add-ons start at $50, and family packages lower the per-person price. A travel fee may apply depending on distance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reschedule or cancel free with at least 6 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 6 hours, or no-shows, are charged 50% of the booked service.
Are your barbers licensed?
Yes. Every Dandies mobile barber holds a California barber license and passes our in-house skill and professionalism assessment.
Is this the same Dandies as the barbershop?
Yes. Dandies Mobile is the mobile service of Dandies Barber & Beard Stylist, with shops in Mountain View, Sunnyvale and Campbell. Same standards, delivered to your door.
What do I need to prepare?
A chair and a little space near an outlet — a kitchen, patio or bathroom works well. The barber brings everything else and cleans up afterward.
Can you cut someone in a hospital, nursing home or bed?
Yes. We cut clients in wheelchairs, recliners and beds. For hospitals and care facilities, please get approval from the facility or care team first; we're happy to coordinate timing.
Do you do mundan ceremonies?
Yes — for babies, children and adults, at home, temple or venue. Mundan starts at $175 and depends on location, timing and group size.
Do you accept cash?
No. We authorize a card when your appointment is confirmed. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
How far do you travel?
We serve Silicon Valley and cities up to about 100 miles from our Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Campbell, San Jose and Hayward bases. A travel fee may apply outside the core area and is always confirmed first.
Can I book for someone else?
Yes. Many requests come from adult children booking for a parent, or from family members of someone with special needs. Put their address and any helpful notes in the request.
Do you offer haircuts for hospice patients?
Yes. We provide gentle bedside haircuts, shaves and grooming for hospice patients at home, in hospice houses and in care homes. Family members or caregivers can book on their behalf. For facilities, please check with the care team first.
